Sift together flour, baking powder and baking
soda. Add butter and work
like pie dough.
Mix eggs, sugar and vanilla - add to flour
mixture. Mix into a dough.
Refrigerate for 15 minutes. Roll out
to 1/4" thick and cut into shapes.
Bake at 350 for 10 minutes or until light
brown. Sprinkle with sugar or
decorate with icing.
Butter Cream Icing
1 lb. sifted powdered sugar
1/3 cup butter
3 to 4 T cream or can milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Beat thoroughly with mixer and then stir good
with a wooden spoon. Tint any
color you want.
