RIBBON COOKIES
        1 pkg. Duncan Hines Deluxe Fudge Marble Cake Mix
        2 eggs
        1/4 tsp. baking soda
        1/2 cup Crisco shortening
        1/4 cup flour

        Reserve cake mix small packet
        Beat eggs with baking soda in bowl.
        Add shortening.
        Blend in dry cake mix and flour; mix well.
        Divide dough in half; blend contents of small packet into
        half of dough.
        On waxed  paper, shape each half of dough into long strip
        1/2  inch thick and 1 1/2 inches wide.  Press strips together lightly.
        Cut to make 3 short strips.  Wrap in waxed paper and store in
        refrigerator.
        Preheat oven to 350 degrees
        Slice dough 1/4 inch thick and put into ungreased cookie sheets.
        Bake for 10 minutes
        Makes 6 dozen cookies
